An Invitation to Guest Post on Sectionhiker.com

Are you be interested in writing a guest post for sectionhiker.com?

The purpose of this blog has always been to develop an international community of passionate backpackers that share a mutual interest in long distance backpacking and lightweight gear. Now that the blog has achieved critical mass and generated a regular audience,  I'd like to build a small group of occasional posters with an international perspective to share their experiences and knowledge. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or an expert backpacker. I think we all will benefit from your experiments, discoveries and insights.

Here is a list of sample topics that you could write about:

  • A product review – something you've used in the field. This includes international equipment brands not distributed in the US.
  • A backpacking trip report
  • A lightweight or ultralight gear list with an explanation of your selections
  • A photo or video tutorial about some aspect of backpacking technique
  • A novel backpacking food recipe
  • An introduction to your backpacking club
  • Trail maintenance activities and certification requirements
  • Articles about conservation, animals or plants
  • Backpacking heath and hygene
  • Charitable organizations or intitiatives that benefit the backpacking community

If you are interested in contributing, send an email with a brief description of your article idea to earlylite@sectionhiker.com.

Complimenti per idea del sito. Anche noi siamo amanti del trekking. Perche non organizziamo un incontro di appassionati per delle escursioni insieme? Magari non piu di 6-8 in tutto? Un saluto.
