The Marmot Pinnacle is a very nice down sleeping bag, particularly if you sleep a little on the cold side. It contains 800 fill goose down which will keep you plenty warm for 3 season use and it has a lot of features that you find on other higher end sleeping bags like the Western Mountaineering Ultralite 20.
I recently had the opportunity to try the Marmot Pinnacle and I was impressed. When you slide into the bag, you are instantly enveloped by a comforting warmth. The foot box is quite spacious and warm and the bag has wide nylon zipper guards that prevent snags. The Pinnacle also has a down filled draft collar that you can cinch around the top of bottom of your upper chest and prevents the expelling of cold air, known as the bellows effect, when you shift around at night.
The Pinnacle 15 weights 2 lbs and 8 oz making this a very lightweight bag for this temperature rating.
