New Hampshire 52 with A View

Cardigan and Firescrew Mountains

The New Hampshire 52 with a View list is maintained by the Over the Hill Hikers group. The peaks listed are quite spread out from east to west and north to south, providing you ample reasons to take far flung road trips when you need a break from the grind.

While they are all under 4,000 feet, these peaks are great for winter hiking because they have some of the best views in the Whites.  They also make good alternate peaks when there is bad weather on the higher summits and you want to hike something that is rewarding, but doesn’t require the same level of gear or vigilance that a full exposure destination requires.
