Bindi Ultralight Headlamp

You'll never have an excuse to leave your light at home when you have the Petzl Bindi Ultralight Headlamp. This versatile headlamp weighs in at a staggeringly light 35 grams, has a variety of settings to suit it to any adventures, and fits easily in your pocket. The standard headlamp's bulky strap that loses its elasticity after a while is nowhere to be found on the Bindi; instead, you'll find an adjustable cord that not only significantly reduces weight and bulk, but also ensures an easy-to-adjust fit and allows you to wear it around your neck.

Three different white light modes give you the right lighting for different situations, from navigating dark trails and setting up your tent to doing a little light reading before bed, and the red light lets you read maps without blinding your trekking partner. IPX4 water-resistance means you won't have to worry about passing showers or dropping your lamp in a small brook. It also sports a USB-rechargeable battery that makes it easy to keep juiced for your daily training runs. So whether you're headed on a backpacking trip where every ounce counts or going on a twilight trail run, the Bindi has your back.

Light weight and easy to use

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Loved it on my initial 50 mile backpack on the Long Trail. Didn't seem to use up much charge on the 3 night trip but provided plenty of light both morning and night and easy to use for a techno-challenged guy.

Great for backpacking

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Small, super light weight, and no more carrying spare batteries! Got this for backpacking and it is perfect. I already carry a power bank to recharge my phone so now I get more use out of that and no need to carry spare AAAs anymore. Comfortable on my head and the brightness settings are great. Lower settings work well around camp and you can turn it up if you are on the move, although I don?t think it would last for an extended hike in the dark. I don?t think it would be bright enough to use when moving fast like on a trail run or biking but that is not what I got it for.
