Why We Like The Crown3 60L Backpack

The Crown3 60L Backpack ensures we can get everything we need into the backcountry as easily as possible. This backpack is incredibly light, and it features a removable frame sheet and lid to drop the pack's weight even more. When we bring the lid along, it converts into a lumbar pack for short adventures away from basecamp or can be worn on the chest for even weight distribution. We dig this pack's fit-for-anyone design; its selection of torso sizes is great for hikers of every height, and the Re-Fit hip belt offers 16 inches of adjustment.

Actual weight not advertised weight...

Size Bought:
Regular

The regular size is listed as 2 lbs, 6.4 oz. In the Backcountry.com website. Actual weight is 2 lbs, 12.2 oz. That's about an extra 6 oz. that should not be there. I weighed it several times to be sure and then found others complaining online about the same thing getting the same weight measurement. I haven't decided whether to keep it or not, as it otherwise appears to be a nice pack with some nice features, but this is heavier than what I bargained for. Hopefully, someone will update the site with the real weight. I just want others to know so they can make a fully informed decision.

Awesome Light-ish pack

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Size Bought:
Long
Height:
5' 10"
Weight:
198

Bought it for hiking and canoe camping this summer as a lighter upgrade to my current pack. Ended up taking it out on a 4 day winter trip in Northern MN to break it in and it fit all my gear with a good amount of space left. The roll top feature came in handy for this, ill assume my summer kit will be much smaller in volume and that'll be nice. Not bad for a lightweight framed backpack. Was a comfortable carry over decent mileage for the most part. The only things I don't like is it's a little too big for my kit and I'm not a fan of the brain.

Bright White

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

The tags will tell you “This pack isn’t white, it’s not dyed.” Let me tell you, this pack is so white it can be seen from Mars. Nothing like the picture. Way too many straps that are way too long adding unnecessary weight to an otherwise decently light pack. There are some spots where the pack has “yellowed” and it’s kinda gross. I returned it.
