With the micro-serrated Traction Rails, Viper 2.0 toe crampon and built in tail traction pins this snowshoe has grip in even the most technical terrain. Getting in and out of these snowshoes is easy and intuitive thanks to the ActiveFit 2.0 binding. I've been looking for a snowshoe that wouldn't get me in trouble on the way down when the conditions are icy/slippery. The Flex ALP Snowshoes Wmns - 22 does the trick! Great up or down, no slipping and no unexpected rides down the steep slope on my behind! Feels great to walk, well thought-out binding. All around what I was looking for. These snowshoes are far more reliable on steep, icy terrain than any others I've tried. I like the shape (made for women)and the bar to hold the heel up on steep slopes. They are a bit heavier than others, however.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received my snowshoes. They were packaged well, and as I said, these are not your mother's (or father's) snowshoes! The looks are very modern and stylish and have exactly what I need for a relaxing and safe trek out in the snow our next northern Minnesota winter. I am thoroughly pleased!
